At 37F I finally got diagnosed with a congenital heart disease and got my ablation done Jan 2026. All thanks to ChatGPT. Triggered by bending down and anything high intensity (soccer/running). It started when I was in my early 20s and it would last for hours after soccer. Eventually it would stop when I passed out from exhaustion. Saw 2 male cardiologists who said it was just heart palpitations from one day holsters/stress tests/EKGs. I never went to the ER because I was told I was young/healthy. When I pushed back on my diagnosis with the second cardiologist, he raised his voice that he deals with more serious issues and that he can’t be bothered by my case. I was given a prescription of metropolol but it didn’t do anything and I still got my episodes frequently. I would ask for another cardiologist referral from my PCP but they would shut me down that my results are normal. Honestly I gave up on seeing another cardiologist, and I just accepted that I knew I wasn’t going to die. 15 years later I had an intense episode after pickleball and I decided to put my symptoms into ChatGPT. Sure enough it recommended me to do the valsalva manuever and amazingly it stopped after my second attempt while in my bed. The AI believed I had SVT and recommended me to see an electrophysiologist. It also provided the medical lingo for a dr to take me seriously. I specifically found a EP who was female to ensure the highest chance they would take me seriously. Even though she did not have the evidence that I had SVT, she did take me seriously and we scheduled an EP Study/Potential SVT ablation about 3 months later. Overall the procedure went smoothly and she diagnosed me with WPW! I’m about 6 months post op and technically cured! I’m just happy that I can live my life and not have to worry about my heart. Really thanks to ChatGPT.
