Permanent ban reversed Proof it can be done! And hopefully some useful advice for those in similar situations. I got banned for “selling counterfeit items” after being scammed by a buyer that reported my shoes with pics of a different clearly fake pair. I resell Jordan’s and only authentic pairs for the record. I rushed into supplying some evidence along with a frustrated message about being scammed. after being banned I quickly appealed with an equally angry reply and what I deemed good evidence that upon reflection wasnn’t. I emailed and used the app support sending the same stuff over and over for a few weeks. After 2 weeks I turned to ChatGPT for advice and kept feeding it information to make an appeal letter. After supplying enough information it gave me an appeal letter based on the fact Vinted hadn’t gone through proper producer when banning me. 1. No proof they are fake other than the buyers 2. No returning the shoes 3. Permanent ban for the first offence. I sent it off last Monday and followed up Wednesday and today (Saturday) with follow ups again written by ChatGPT. 15min later I’m back on Vinted! For others that might be in a similar situation: 1. Don’t rush into the appeal process get all your evidence etc together 2. Keep it professional, no emotional language. As we know it’s AI support so it doesn’t care 3. State the facts and almost be sympathetic to Vinted process/t&c’s 4. Push for a manual review by stating it. 5. Chase up the same email chain or support ticket 6. Most importantly use an ai service to structure everything and ensure you are getting the right message across. Hope this helps some people!
