Not ChatGPT, but Gemini probably saved my cat's life this month. He lost a lot of weight really quickly. We took him to our vet who said it's 99% cancer and wanted to run a bunch of tests. We didn't know much so we ran the tests, got the blood tests quickly but biopsy would take a while. I asked Gemini what the blood tests results could mean and it said cancer is highly unlikely since my cat is just 1 year old. It suggested FIP instead, since the blood test had all the markers for it, which our vet didn't even bring up. We brought it up to our vet who dismissed us and said to wait for the biopsy results instead of wasting time searching the internet. That pissed us off a lot, so we spoke to another vet who confirmed it was FIP and got us the medication. FIP is really fast moving so I don't know what would have happened if we just waited for the biopsy results. The biopsy came back negative btw. Our main vet called us and was still insistent that it could be cancer. Shady as hell.
