This past Saturday my dog ate a big pack of my daughter’s sugar free Extra gum. It has xylitol. I did not know this was heavily poisonous for dogs. A few hours later he was starting to lose his balance and look confused. I told Grok he had eaten some gum and was dizzy. Grok said very urgently that he had been poisoned and I needed to get him to the vet immediately. Grok told me the nearest emergency vet 1.5 hours away and got me the number. We were on the road within 1 minute. He had a seizure on the way from his blood sugar crashing but we made it before he passed. Over the next 48 hours they were able to save him.
