Yesterday I paid $750 to get my dog to throw up. I walked into that ER vet clinic armed with Claude. “My dog ingested 704mg of theobromine in brownie form. He needs a shot of apomorphine and then some activated charcoal.” They gave him the shot and he threw up brownies. Then they wanted to keep him overnight for $2,200 because his heart rate was 170. I asked to take him to a private room to let him chill. Heart rate dropped to 130 in 5 minutes. They gave charcoal and released us.
