Replaced the plug myself for $6. Problem solved. - A persistent computer startup glitch that 3 different IT forums couldn't fix. Detailed troubleshooting with ChatGPT isolated an obscure motherboard BIOS power-state bug conflicting with a secondary NVMe drive. Adjusted the PCIe lane power setting as suggested, and it's booted flawlessly ever since.
