Claude feels like cheating I am a 42-year-old stay-at-home mom with zero background in computer science or programming. I've always had an idea for a cozy puzzle adventure game for my kids, but creating software always felt like an impossible closed door. With Claude (Sonnet 3.5 / Claude Code), I've built a fully functioning, multi-level 2D game in Godot. Claude guided me through engine architecture, wrote GDScript modules, taught me how signals work, and helped build an in-game visual level editor so I can design and test puzzles visually without touching code. Seeing my kids play and laugh at a video game that I envisioned and built is one of the most empowering feelings of my life.
