I do, yes. But my approach is more as a journal, if you will, than a person or therapist. It’s a place where I can go to dump the more depressing parts of my gutted life, over and over and over again. I don’t expect a lot back from it, though every once in a while it has some pertinent insights. I don’t feel that it is particularly dangerous but I’m also under no illusions that it’s anything more than it is. People don’t want to hear that I wish that I was dead. People don’t want to hear about how I can’t bear to keep doing this day in and day out. And that’s just once, not everyday, which is, you know, how often I feel that way. A machine can’t get depressed about you. A machine isn’t going to say “enough”. In that way I see it as a very useful tool. I just need to get it out. And it’s a place that I can scream into the void and kinda feel like I’m being heard.
