I won a 5,000,000 won lawsuit using ChatGPT and no lawyer I’ve been living in Korea for four years now, and I ended up getting screwed over by an ex-girlfriend. Hiring a lawyer would have cost me around 5 million won, and I didn’t want to spend essentially the same amount of money on legal fees as the amount being disputed in the lawsuit. I also don’t speak Korean at all, so I didn’t really have any other choice but to handle the case myself with the help of ChatGPT. I used ChatGPT to help me with the legal forms, translations, legal research, and understanding the overall process. After seven months of trials, submissions, and dealing with the Korean legal system on my own, I ended up winning the case.
